After a summer of vacations and permanent relocations, school is back in session and coverage needs are beginning to slow down.  Locum tenens are now looking for work and cannot find nearly as much of it.  It could be a combination of the current economic situation and the season change but the proposed national healthcare plan also has locum tenens wondering how the market will shift.  As we approach the end of this year we’ll all have a better idea of what the future holds for locum tenens.
