I am a regular Food Network watcher and, of course, had it on recently when they were airing Challenge: Pizza Champions. Incidentally my husband and I were ordering pizza, so I found this to be an appropriate show to watch. It was very entertaining having four world champion pizza acrobats battling it out with attempts to toss, roll and spin their way into the Guinness Book of World Records!
One of the contestants was Joe Carlucci from Famous Joe’s in Danbury, Connecticut. How does this tie to locums you ask?
One of my favorite, favorite clients is Community Health Centers, Inc. in Connecticut. There are several sites in the state where Delta Locum Tenens has staffed physicians over the past year, plus, there is a site in Danbury, too! I was thrilled to not only have a new selling point to share with recruiters who talk with doctors wanting to head to Connecticut, but also something to talk about with my oh-so-funny client, Dr. Nwando Olayiwola of CHC, Inc. Forget about Connecticut being too cold or not metro enough–-Physicians, while on assignment in Danbury, you have a warm, wood-fired oven with a three-time World Pizza Champion at Famous Joe’s to keep you entertained with truly amazing pizza acrobats. Who knew?!?
