I know many of you are only focused with your holiday coverage needs right now,  but physicians are planning for the new year now.  Your chances of finding the right fit will be much better if you begin now, especially if you are looking for long-term, ongoing locums coverage.  Also, make sure you stay open-minded and give equal consideration to all physicians interested in working at your facility.  Sometimes, you'll be surprised and a "square peg" can fit into a "round hole."
